Wiston Estate Winery
Awarded ‘Winery of the Year 2018’, Wiston Estate is a family venture, small in scale, impressive in achievement and unrelenting in pursuit of quality. The picturesque 6.5ha vineyard lies on a south-facing escarpment of pure chalk, similar to the renowned Côte des Blancs area in Champagne and is planted to the classic sparkling wine grapes Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. This festival they are hosting a special tour of their fantastic vineyard and winery, set within the glorious rolling hills of Wiston Estate.

September is one of the most beautiful times in the vineyard as it marks the beginning of harvest, with the grapes at their optimal ripeness. Vineyard Manager, James McLean has curated a self-guided tour, so you can stro9ll through the vines at your leisure. You are welcome to bring your own picnic to enjoy the foot of the vines after your tour – all we ask is that you make sure you take home all your rubbish. If you would like to explore the South downs National Park, we would be very happy to advise you of routes. Booking is absolutely essential and as per the current government guidance, we can welcome up to two households totalling 6 adults per booking slot, so that you will be able to enjoy your visit with your friends and family. Each booking slot will be private to your group so that we can safely stagger arrivals throughout the day.
