We are a classic country pub situated in the picturesque village of Upper Beeding (near Steyning).  The pub has a long history stretching back to the first use of the building as a brewery in 1857.  Today the pub sits on the edge of the South Downs National Park, an area popular with walkers, cyclists and equestrians.  The pub is centrally situated for Brighton, Worthing and Horsham; perfect for exploring West Sussex.  Whatever your reason for visiting you can be assured of a warm and friendly welcome, delicious meals made from locally sourced, seasonal ingredients and an excellent selection of real ales on tap.
